A storm of reactions by Nigerians has greeted photos showing Abba Kyari and other officers of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in bushes along Abuja-Kaduna expressway.
Naija News understands that the police officers stormed the bushes along Abuja-Kaduna expressway to hunt kidnappers, bandits and other criminals hiding in the bushes.
This online news platform reports that the Abuja-Kaduna expressway has been a den of kidnappers over the years, with many motorists as well as passengers being victims of the menace.
In a bid to restore calmness to the area, Kyari and his team have stormed the bushes in search of the kidnappers.
President Muhammadu Buhari‘s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad shared photos of the officers in the bushes on the micro-blogging site, Twitter.
Ahmad wrote: “One of Nigeria’s most brilliants Police officers, Abba Kyari and his team storm bushes along Abuja-Kaduna expressway to hunt kidnappers, bandits and other criminals hiding in the bushes. On the other hands, Nigerian Army continues with their Ops Harbin Kunama III in Zamfara”.

Moments after he shared the photos, Nigerians started reacting on the micro-blogging site. The reaction has seen Abba Kyari among the top ten in the Nigerian Twitter trend.
Naija News captured some of the reactions below…
These pictures were taken by Abba Kyari of the IGP IRT team . Another rogue unit of the @PoliceNG that specializes in extra-judicial murders and extortion and armed banditry. This is a supposed Operation in search of kidnappers along Abuja-Kaduna Expressway. pic.twitter.com/YbJNP4f9Oo

After Elrufai shot his video yesterday, Abba Kyari and his team are doing paparazzi today. Who is next tomorrow? https://t.co/2DiZ1haJkc

Abba Kyari is the officer who was implicated by witness in court for torture, to force him to implicate senate president for Offa robbery;
here is President Buhari’s media aide calling him “brilliant officer”.
Abba Kyari hasn’t answered for those accusations.
Sleep well Nigeria. https://t.co/BmTEZSYYG1

I don't really care if Abba Kyari is a good policeman or not but my question is how did they get to snap when they are hunting down kidnappers. like who snapped them ? Nigeria is a movie I don't seem to get pic.twitter.com/3KkwLJ4T4h

Unfortunately , you are so wrong . You should read about the Super cop called Abba Kyari , maybe then , your perception about these particular unit will change . Not all policemen are stupid
— Anyaba charles (@shopetie_101) April 4, 2019
Nigerians will do anything for media to carry.
Yes, Abba Kyari is a fearless police officer.
Lately, he has been off the Headline, so yesterday he had to enter the nearby bush, snap some pictures and share online.
Now he is trending. Mission accomplished. Praise God pic.twitter.com/LXE784cG1M

If Abba Kyari is involved then we will hear good news soon Inshaa Allah. May Allah grant him and his crew success and protection. Ameen.

Abba Kyari is coming for you. May Allah continue to protect and guide the Men and women of Nigerian armed forces. Nasrul Minal Allah.

Anytime Abba Kyari is involved in an operation, it's certainly a covert Ops for the top echelon. He's always coming out to paint the story to favour the government. Most of his Ops are scripted acts that are intended to brainwash the unsuspecting public.

And they all had their left feet on the ground same time while chasing the kidnappers with their photographer.
OK, continue…..Abba Kyari.
Una well done o https://t.co/fc8DxqEbS0

I suspect you have heard the story. That you sold out. That you did a deal with Abba Kyari at a meeting you had with him where you were promised CBN Governor in exchange for Gombe/NE. Reason why you you lost Gombe. I called you severally.

This is the kind of Game I love, The Ultimate search. I really want to Join Abba Kyari on this one. I have been clamouring for this for a long period of time. Abba Kyari please when can I join you? Forget #BBNaija this is the real game for men. pic.twitter.com/Lmx3sEM4ce

The same Abba Kyari that is being accused of helping himself with the properties that were confiscated from senior kidnappers like Evans? https://t.co/fYQ51CErkw
— Nafiu T (@nafeezi) April 4, 2019
Well, just tell me this photo is for show. If Abba Kyari reach those bandits den with anything fewer than 20 men, then he should get ready to be kidnapped too. Those guys are too ready for a dozen of special anything. I came in contact with them and I know how ready they are.
— Ablaku D. A. (@ablaku) April 4, 2019
So how many kidnappers did the star policeman Abba Kyari and his award winning team arrest or was this a photo shoot or a movie scene? @BashirAhmaad what of those kidnapped on Monday and Tuesday? Were they rescued?
Pls stop pissing on the graves of those grieving?
— Terlumun Usha (@dotusha) April 4, 2019
You should have tweeted this before Abba Kyari was busted. The same police officer that used force to make suspect implicate someone deserve no respect of the citizen. We thought he was a fine policeman but no he wasn't and we don't respect him anymore. https://t.co/vrjefCN147
— WaleWorlwide (@walexcul) April 4, 2019
“One of the Nigeria’s most brilliant police officers”…. This is the same Abba Kyari, who was implicated by one of the #offarobbers for using torture to coerce witnesses to give fake confessions against @bukolasaraki

I've been trying so hard not to respond to your baseless tweets. With the tiny sense you have, this clustering of your Brilliant Police officers led by your wonderful Abba Kyari is a good formation for such operation right? And they can survive ambush they way they clustered abi? pic.twitter.com/AHzCUn3nlj

With all due respect Yesterday I saw El Rufai's convoy after they chased after kidnappers, How Come Abba Kyari is doing exact same? Wow https://t.co/ZTUwjlM438

Did he send you to threaten me with court? See ehn, kiddo , you here are people you don’t engage and when you do , don’t tell them about courts or whatever. Ask the Abba Kyari himself and he will tell you that he can’t even threaten me
— Nimrod (@GhenhisKhan) April 5, 2019
Can anybody tell me who is this Abba Kyari of a man? Is he like the Jack Bauer of the @PoliceNG?
— Abu~Hafiz (@AminuFaragai) April 5, 2019
In all honesty, @BashirAhmaad Must everything about this administration be propaganda? See how Clean Abba Kyari and His Team THAT STORMED "BUSHES" are. we know we have D worst Police Service in D World but we never knew the were terrible actors too with a very bad Director. https://t.co/2r3Xt649ka

Thought they said Abba kyari and his team are already in the bush chasing the kidnappers.

Why do I have to zoom the picture now? Thank you ABBA KYARI for the moves to stop the bad boys. I won't mind Gab and his Zanku
— DENG DENG (@UtchayMillion) April 5, 2019
What were they waiting for for 9 days nou??? Abba Kyari right??? Forget that story. We all have that experience. More than 90% kidnap victims secure their freedom after a ransom. Maybe you were kidnapped by boy scouts
— Daughter Of A Governor (@GovernorPikin) April 4, 2019
My friend was kidnapped today on his way coming back from Abuja same day that Abba kyari stormed the bush to hunt for the kidnappers. @MBuhari @PoliceNG @elrufai @BashirAhmaad you must tackle this problem now if not when they finish the poor they will start hunting you too.
