Pidgin English made many WASSCE students fail – WAEC: People relations officer of WAEC has linked the poor performance of 2018 WAEC individuals to the culture of ‘Pidgin English’.

Performance of individuals about the Core Mathematics paper was awful.

The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has attributed the indegent performance of 2018 WASSCE prospects to the growing culture of ‘Pidgin English’.

This is coming from the open public affairs officer of WAEC, Agnes Teye-Cudjoe, who exposed that chief examiners lamented bitterly in the use of pidgin language by WASSCE prospects in their last exams.
