President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered security agencies to deal with criminals and bandits causing mayhem in Zamfara state including other security challenges in the country, immediately and ruthlessly.
This was made known by Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin, to State House correspondents after their security meeting with Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Thursday.
“We have the marching order to deal with this issue immediately and ruthlessly and ensure that all those bandits are immediately dealt with and all those issues that are bordering with our security are properly addressed,” he said.
The Acting Inspector-General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu also confirmed what Olonisakin said, adding that bandits and kidnappers around the Abuja/Kaduna road, have confronted and the roads are clear and safe.
